Slavery Apologies are Superfluous and Phony

Lately the states that made up the south during the U.S. Civil War have been contemplating the issue of a formal apology for slavery. Virginia has already apologized for the state's previous wrongdoings and Georgia intends to follow suit.

The government says OK to wolf slaughter

In late January the U.S. government suggested removing gray wolves from the endangered species list. Being the animal lover that I am, I was ecstatic when I heard the news, but a recent announcement concerning the precious gray wolf has me appalled to an equal extreme.
